Right4Paws, a direct-to-consumer pet nutrition company, has raised ₹14 crore in a Series A funding round backed by high-net-worth investors, marking a significant milestone for an Indian pet care brand at this stage of growth. The fundraise underscores rising investor conviction in differentiated, research-led offerings within India’s fast-evolving pet care market.
Owned by Pet Prakalp India Pvt Ltd and headquartered in Coimbatore, Right4Paws has positioned itself around science-backed, whole-food-based nutrition designed to support pets’ long-term health. The Series A round was advised by Three Pins Capital Ltd, UAE, reflecting growing interest from advisory firms and capital providers in premium, transparency-focused consumer brands.
The company intends to deploy the capital towards expanding manufacturing capacity, enhancing production efficiencies, and strengthening internal teams—key priorities for scaling a D2C operation in India. Strategic plans also include onboarding domain specialists, launching new products tailored to specific life stages and health requirements, widening domestic distribution, and initiating exports to select international markets.

Right4Paws differentiates itself by steering clear of heavily processed inputs and artificial additives, instead focusing on minimally processed, whole-food formulations supported by in-house research and development. Its product formulations are guided by veterinary nutritionists based in the United Kingdom, with an emphasis on improving nutrient bioavailability, digestive health, and overall longevity—an approach increasingly resonating with informed pet owners.
Commenting on the development, Founder and Director Dhanu Roy noted that the funding represents an important step towards raising pet nutrition benchmarks in India. He highlighted the brand’s intent to blend the benefits of whole foods with the practicality of dry formats, while building a globally credible pet nutrition brand rooted in India.

“Our objective is to build a globally credible pet nutrition brand from India by combining whole-food nutrition principles with scalable formats that meet modern pet parent expectations.”
– Dhanu Roy
Co-founder and Director Sameer Achan added that the strong investor response validates the company’s technology-led approach and market strategy. According to him, the Series A capital will support faster scale-up, entry into adjacent product categories, and readiness for overseas markets, without compromising the brand’s core focus on research and measurable health outcomes.
The investment comes amid sustained growth in India’s pet care industry, driven by urban lifestyles, higher disposable incomes, and greater awareness of companion animal health. Against this backdrop, D2C pet nutrition brands with clear differentiation and scalability are increasingly attracting investor attention.

“Investor confidence at this stage validates our technology, formulation approach, and long-term market strategy in a category that is becoming increasingly discerning.”
– Sameer Achan
With fresh capital in place, Right4Paws is well-positioned to deepen its manufacturing footprint, expand market reach, and strengthen brand visibility. Its emphasis on science-led nutrition and long-term wellness places it among the notable emerging players in India’s premium pet food segment, as the sector continues to mature and professionalize.
